In this recorded webinar, a panel of child welfare experts reviews the legislative and policy history of the bipartisan Adoption & Safe Families Act (ASFA) of 1997.  Panelists will provide context on the conditions of child welfare before the passage of ASFA, discuss the intent and content of the legislation, and report on how ASFA is being implemented by the states more than 25 years later.
