Talking to Friends and Family About Adoption (for Parents)

Description
Join us for an enlightening conversation on how to talk to your friends and family about adoption! We’ll provide valuable insights to help adoptive families navigate common questions from friends and family, address potential misconceptions, manage intrusive inquiries, and turn challenging moments into opportunities for education. This session is designed to empower those considering or currently navigating the adoption journey, with a particular focus on understanding, addressing, and involving friends and family in the conversation. We’ll also offer some tailored guidance for those adopting after experiencing infertility, offering practical advice on how to share the news with friends and family that you are embarking on a new path to parenthood.

While this webinar is geared primarily towards adoptive parents, it will offer important principles and helpful practical applications that will be relevant for adoption professionals as well.
